Truck Driving Training in Connecticut

Connecticut CDLConnecticut does not have any specific requirements to obtain a CDL.  An applicant only needs to complete a written test and a driving proficiency test to get there commercial truck driving license.  With that being said its almost a necessity to take a truck driving course to get familiar enough to pass the driving test.

The written test has 30 multiple choice questions and the passing grade is 80% (24 correct answers).  The driving test must be taken in the class of vehicle that is being licensed for, so its important to practice before hand in that type of truck.

Before taking either test the driver will need to be familiar with the Connecticut Commercial Drivers Manual.
